The Golden Age – Living From Creation Rather Than Survival

This past Wednesday I had a message from the Counsel of Light channeled for me through Flo Aeveia Magdalena. The gist of their message, if I could put it in a single nutshell, is: Live from creation and not from survival and struggle. In other words, if we want to manifest a Golden Age, it is high time to begin living from creation, consistently.

As some of you may know, it’s been quite some time since I had Flo Aeveia channel a personal message for me. It’s been several years, in fact, the last time during the Summer of 2005. But I felt, with my move back to the house I lived over nine years ago, that this move was significant and an opportunity for a new focus for me–and also that the moment was urgent. And indeed, I received the message that it is time to much more consistently live from the creative mode and less from survival.

Oh yes, I admit to not being so consistent. Even though I write these blog posts on reconnecting with your higher self and following through with divine guidance in the moment (meaning, promptly and consistently), I have made many choices that I would consider a reaction to the world around me rather than living from the creative potential. (Particularly in certain areas of my life, such as family relationships and personal economics.) In other words, rather than operating from the creative realm consistently (the vertical connection, the connection with Source), I was reacting to the struggle around me from the normal human operating mode, making choices from fear and outer circumstances and the manipulations of the outer world.

In the channeling the Counsel of Light advised me to be more consistent, to increase the time I’m living in creation compared to living in survival from a ratio that right now approaches 50:50, to 60:40, then to 75:25, and to keep increasing that ratio. This means being in the creative mode in all areas of my life more and more consistently, until that’s the only mode I’m operating from.

They advised me to get that vertical connection really strong first (the connection with Source, with Origin actually) so that the “horizontal begins to spin.” What they mean is, I am feeling that excitation and that strong excitation I’m feeling in my heart is what drives my horizontal connection, is what drives me, is what drives my choices and actions in the outer world. Because that is how one attracts whatever one needs, whatever resources one needs to fulfill one’s purpose.

I have to agree with them. While I was writing my 2 books, I felt that excitation really strongly. I was in creation mode consistently, the resources were flowing, and I experienced many amazing synchronicities daily that furthered my book projects along. Universal cooperation and flow happened consistently on a daily basis.

I experienced flow and amazing synchronicities while writing many articles and blog posts, and when I moved my place of residence near the end of September. (To see a recent example of what is possible when living from the creative potential, please read my blog post from a few weeks ago titled, Following Your Intuition in the Moment Makes Overwhelming Projects Manageable). But at the same time, I see that I have been operating from fear and struggle in other areas of my life (which I am sure caused a damper in what I was able to create and/or manifest around me).

I am reminded of what the Counsel of Light told me several years ago, something like, “Don’t worry about what you need to do next week, don’t worry about tomorrow, even. Just take care of what you’re being called to take care of today.”

Regarding the moving example, I am reminded of another amazing thing that happened that illustrates the above beautifully: I had been trying to sell a heavy, solid wood entertainment center for a few weeks on Craigslist. A few people came in to look, but no one bought. On the last day of my move around 5 pm, after I okayed with the landlady that the new tenants could begin moving in their things, I got an email from a woman who told me that she wanted the entertainment center and could come over in 20 minutes. The buyers and the new tenants arrived around the same time, and the guys moving their furniture in helped the people who bought the entertainment center load it onto their truck. (It was very heavy, too heavy for only two guys to lift up onto a truck.)

I know some of us get glimpses of the magic of living from that sacred space and the creative energies that are possible, but do we actually dwell in that place for any length of time? Do we live from that place consistently? Look around you, look at the state of the world, and you will have your answer. Does it look to you like we’re on the brink of a Golden Age?

Yes, I understand that I have not been as consistent as I could have been. And yes, I am ready to live from that place consistently, I’m ready to live from that vertical connection consistently, from that connection with Source, with Origin, that’s accessed through the higher self, consistently. I will be sharing what I experience as well as parts of the Counsel of Light’s message in future blog posts because I feel many will benefit from their message. Will you join me in this endeavor?

In the meantime, I invite you to strengthen your relationship with your higher self, and if you haven’t already, please take a look at the resources on my Connecting with Your Higher Self website. The Golden Age (including your own personal “golden age”) will not created by the wave of someone’s magic wand or just by meditating in our retreats, but by our living from creation rather than survival in the outer world consistently.

Funny thing. I’m up early so that I can take my time, drink my coffee, and ready for a wonderful retreat weekend … and here is your latest blog. Loving the message, and one I give/hear often. In fact, it’s the space I’m in as well. The many reminders to live far more in creation or “act from Spirit” mode rather than fear or “react from ego” mode. Who doesn’t need this reminder at some point?

One thing, though, that seems to block so many of us from this creation balance is our sense of self-worth. There’s a thought-form to be added to the creation aspect of ourselves, and that is “I am worthy to …” [fill in the blank]. When you wrote your books from that free space of inspiration, the words would flow. When the outside world (family, friends, etc.) would intrude, it made it more difficult to stay in that state of feeling “led” and “inspired” to follow your life path.

I have found (am finding) that when I keep my thoughts aligned with “worthiness” (which we are), it becomes much easier to increase the balance of “creation” … “I am worthy of abundance” or “I am worthy of all that the Universe has for me” or “I am worthy of having a bestseller because my story (or my guidance/wisdom) will help many people.”

So glad you had this reconnection through Flo, and that it reconfirmed and strengthened your own so special connection to Source. I’m sure she very much enjoyed reconnecting with one who truly listened and followed what was channeled through her by the Counsel of Light. You are worthy! With much love and blessings–your friend, Pam.

    • Pam, it is so wonderful to hear your inspiring words again on this blog! I do believe I am worthy, but I will explore that some more to see if there’s anything that comes up for me, to see if there’s anything I’m not yet seeing. Thanks for your guidance as always, I am sure it will help many others. Take care and may the blessings of the Universe be bestowed upon you. Love, Christine

Thanks Christine, for another timely and needed message. As I gave up my job income at the end of 2011 to do my greater work, my challenge is a fear around not having money to pay the monthly bills. I have short periods where I am “in the flow” and feel confident. So, I needed your message to get me on track to focus on my creative work in the moment and maintain the connection with my higher self.

    • Thanks Les, I have been in a similar boat for quite some time and the fear did get to me at times, particularly as I was reminded of this fact almost daily by those close to me. I certainly needed the message I was given, and am renewed in my work. Thanks as always for your gentle comments. Many blessings to you, and may the Universe reward you. Christine

Christine, I always marvel when your posts and those of others like you coordinate with what I observe in my life, days or even minutes AFTER I observe them. It lets me know a wonderful conspiracy is afoot.

Which I guess us a lovely (and lively) little idea I’d like to share with you and others here. It’s called “Pronoia” and I found out about it through my own very neat synchronicity.

I was asked last minute to help editing a local newsletter I had just begun to write for. It involved me waking in the wee hours of the morning so I was reluctant. But the message I had been receiving strongly lately had been “help out even if you feel it inconveniences you” – so I agreed.

Through the editing process I discovered our newsletter had a horoscope I had never read before. It was one they had sourced online free from Rob Breszny’s Freewill website. Aside from reading a THE MOST SIGNIFICANT horoscope I’d ever read IN my life – one I would.not have read if I had not take the assignment that morning – I was compelled to visit his website and was thus introduced to his brainchild, “Pronoia”.

The opposite of “paranoia”, Pronoia speaks to the idea that the Universe is Always and Forever conspiring in our favour. Just as with your synchronicty where the buyer and the movers showed at the same time – how delightfully easy that dreadful task became!

The message here is that one way of maintaining that vertical connection is by becoming “pronoid” instead of paranoid – treating every single moment of our day like the Christmas morning it is and anticipating something miraculous/delicious/titilating/wonderful/joy-filled awaits us… because it does. It sooooohoho does.

Cheers and thanks for that post!

    • Hi Amber, whenever I pick up one of those free newspapers I always look for Rob Breszny’s Freewill horoscope. I love the inspiring way he writes, the words he uses, and his wonderful attitude. Thanks for sharing this great resource with others! I look forward to hear more from you in the future. Many blessings, Christine

Hi Christine, I am having to resort to diet changes to get more connected to higher self/ earth/ love….certain foods greatly aid my success. When I eat less food and eat slowly and mindfully and eat cruciferous veggies, raw chocolate (with stevia for sweetener), green tea, then I do muc better.

If I eat sugar, refined carbs, meat, or eat too much (more than 80% full) this hinders my ability to connect with Spirit. In fact last night I did not eat anything after 3pm and just had a green drink for dinner.

This is a sacrifice but for me well worth it.

    Much love in the light,

    • Hi Christopher, I agree with you here. I’m finding it’s much easier to keep up with everything and to feel good when one’s nutrition is optimal. Feeling good helps with noticing the subtle signals from within and following through with them in the moment. For most people, improving one’s nutrition means reducing and or giving up processed foods. I am also refraining from gluten, dairy, eggs, soy and sugar and have been somewhat consistent with this. (But not 100% yet.) It really does help a lot. Thanks as always for your insight! Christine

  5. Hi Sweetie!! These words resonate so profoundly with me! Thank you for sharing this with us! My great friend and colleague, Dr. Cindy Gale, and I have been talking about this very thing–this coming from creation, living from creation, instead of from struggle or survival. And, also we have been discussing the blocks to doing this and how one of which is worthiness. So, thank you to Pamela Leach as well for your wonderful comment! I am so warmly and fuzzily grateful to see these synchronicities in thought, feelings, beliefs, and intentions now!

I sense more work can be done around helping others to move into this process of living from creation. It’s become a habit hasn’t it? So, it can be shifted, dropped, and reprogrammed–yes, with consistency and intention.

I’m so glad to be here now with you and all of our fellow and fella lightworkers! Rock on!!

Oh, and if you haven’t checked out my new facebook page, What Would Love Do, please let me know what you think. Motivating and inspiring folks to come from love instead of fear is what it’s all about.

    Happy Weekend!!!

    • Thanks Michelle for your comment! I really think that a greater understanding of the process we’re going through will help others, as well as many examples of how people have lived from creation rather than from struggle or fear, and how that made things easier for them. I’m glad we have you and Dr. Gale helping at this very important time in humanity’s awakening and I will check out your Facebook Page.

By the way, Pamela Leach is a wonderful, insightful spiritual advisor / counselour and intuitive as well. She can be reached at http://www.pamramadama.com. Have a great day! Christine

Thank you for sharing this, sometimes we do need a boost on our spiritual paths to be seen from the outside in, helps tremendously to have advice from spirit in this way and i have been thinking myself just lately about it as i have not had a sitting for two &half yrs, I have always lived day to day which annoys my family as they do not understand why, when they are tied working for years to pay for their homes,,cars, holidays, etc slaves to the system and cannot see that material is worth nothing in the end, spirit does not require it,rather be poor then eh? Love and light selina x.

  7. Christine,

I love this post! It’s very timely. I have to admit, I haven’t been so consistent lately either, but this is only because I discovered that I was taking too much on and I had to cut some stuff loose in order to let energy I needed flowing again. It was causing me to live in the future because I was worrying about getting everything accomplished. I definitely wasn’t living in the moment as we are supposed to do. Thanks for posts like these that help us all to stay on track!

I am new to this way of thinking and enjoyed your blog post very much. After 14 years of trying to build a family and a home only to have it all fall apart in divorce, foreclosure and divorce, I know that I must look beyond the 4 walls and create/regenerate my family based not on material possessions, but on the relationships between us. I do just seem to survive though and can’t seem to get beyond that…still working on it!

    November 13, 2012
    • Hi Brooke, it’s great to have you here! I can appreciate where you’re coming from, and it is very helpful to know that you can tap into Source/Creation by connecting with your higher self, the higher aspect of yourself, your true essence. This essence not only helps us by increasing flow and favorable synchronicities in our lives, it also helps give us insight into our lives, into who we are, so that life becomes way more fulfilling. I am so glad you’re here, and don’t worry that you are “new” to this way of thinking. I would think the majority of people are. Many blessings, Christine

Thanks for this blog Christine. In trying be in the creativity, I find myself as the observer watching the moment and the movements. At times my creativity becomes muddled with intermittent fear and responsibility replacing the creativity. How are we to transcend the old world for the new world coming, when remembrances of the past are so difficult to filter out completely? Steve
