The Great Shift in Consciousness Will Flatten Your Belly

I got a response to my recent blog post titled, “The Great Shift In Consciousness and the Light Vs Dark Game” from a person named “Gryphon” at Rumor Mill News. Gryphon wrote:

“As I smoke another cigarette, I need to remember to learn to forget.

As I click on the page that teaches me how to get a flat belly that I really don’t give a shit about I see how to shift my consciousness. There is no great shift in consciousness. It’s just a shift from male to female. And it’s gonna be a great balance for a few thousand years and then females are going to make just as big a mess of things as males have and then males will screw it up for another 13,000 years and then we’ll all be back in the same place again.

So what’s the f@*#-ing point?…

Don’t get too hung up on the process love, it’s happened quite a few times before. “

I’m responding to his concerns here because 1. this simplistic view of the shift is probably held by many, and 2. because I’m not a moderator at RMN, I cannot respond directly to Gryphon in that forum.

When I wrote my eBook Activating 2012: A Practical Guide to Navigating 2012 with Confidence and Clarity, I knew there was something unique about the shift we’re going through this time around. I knew it wasn’t going be yet another 25,820 year cycle. What I mean is that it’s not just the end of another cycle of precessions of the equinoxes; there’s something more to it than that.

What I have known for some time now is that this shift in consciousness is about the integration and wholeness of the individual (and by extension, of the collective). It’s not merely about swinging from one side to the other. It’s definitely not about elevating or preferring one state of being over the other, but about integrating the higher self (creative self) with the personality (“ego”) self.

I cannot actually prove, using astronomy, that this greater level shift is on the horizon. However, in my eBook I show that the astronomy of December 21, 2012 (the alignment of the galactic equator with the Earth’s pole) presages a Great Shift in Consciousness. I show the galactic element that corresponds to the higher self (“God self”), the galactic element that corresponds to the lower self (“ego self”), and why integration of the two aspects this time around makes sense.

However, the Great Shift in consciousness isn’t real to me because of my analysis of the astronomy. The great shift is also not about my becoming aware of the truth about our government, religious institutions, or even about the bankers. For most of us, learning about that kind of stuff falls into the category of book learning.

Rather, I know it’s real because I experienced it personally. I experienced a profound shift in my own awareness after I made the commitment and mustered up the courage to follow through with my inner guidance promptly and consistently, even though I knew that would be the harder path to take (temporarily, I mean…until certain things got resolved).

The Great Shift is about you as an individual changing yourself profoundly. It’s about you discovering through profound and meaningful firsthand experiences why you chose to be here at this time. It’s about making sense of your own life and understanding the role of the people in your life in your transformation. The astronomic alignments are merely signs of the times, and I only became interested in knowing the details of those after my transformative experiences.

Furthermore, as someone with a “left-brain” background (a bachelor’s degree in materials engineering), I see nothing wrong with logic and reasoning. Yet at the same time, I have experienced the great benefits of trusting one’s connection with the Divine, of trusting one’s inner guidance.

The world’s problems didn’t come about because we have overdosed on science, but because real science was corrupted by the profit motive. (One example: recent independent studies indicate that true science is lacking in the medical industry.) There are also those who insist that the right brain is superior to the left brain (just look at where the left brain got us, they say). But don’t let anyone tell you that one side is somehow “better” than the other. In fact, I see science and spirituality merging in the future. (We can call the integration of the two “Divine Logic.”)

So no, there will be no shift from male to female, from left brain to right brain. I am clear that this time it’s about integration and balance. Although this isn’t something I can actually prove will happen, it’s what I stand for, and I’m working on bringing this understanding to the mass consciousness.

As far as flattening your belly is concerned, the great shift in consciousness will totally do that for you. Following through with your inner guidance (a must for experiencing the great shift in consciousness) will get you in touch with your love for yourself as well as help raise your awareness about such things as proper nutrition and about what’s bugging you inside. In conclusion, I have no doubt that a flatter belly will be just one of the many benefits of experiencing the great shift in consciousness.

Integration = unification, consolidation, amalgamation, commingling,

Balance = Equilibrium, parity, symmetry, poise, composure, steadiness, stability, consistency, self-control, connectedness, dispassion, level-headedness, rationality.

    Darling Christine,
The Earth shifts constantly, surely as waves on the shore.
Humans integrate the shore into and unto themselves.
The trick is to find love between the spaces of each wave, each shift.
We shift between our physical senses and our etheric senses and there is no balance or integration.
We shift between dark and light.
If we accept the void in between, and if there is enough love in our heart to fill the void with it (with no expectation attached to the giving or taking), we find meaning in both shift and space, in motion and in stability, in male and in female, in dark and in light.
But that does not mean balance or integration. It means a constant walk along the shore, a constant ride on the train, a constant flight between clouds–feeling the friction, searching the spaces, finding the occasional beautiful shell, the beautiful stranger sitting on a bench, an unusual shape in the vapor.

      Hi Maria,

Thanks for expressing what sometimes cannot be adequately expressed with words, except for maybe with poetry.

Hey Christine, I wanted to comment about the “flatten your belly” because that actually happened to me and I couldn’t understand why! I’m not trying to be facetious either. Months ago I started noticing in the mirror a flatter, more defined stomach and couldn’t figure out why. Especially since I hadn’t been doing any ab crunches, just watching what I eat. That’s it! I’m serious. It’s awesome and even more so now that I know why…because it was a mystery to me until now! Even when I was younger and actually did ab crunches, I didn’t have this much definition. Well, that’s just cool!

      Hi Karyn,

Any tips on what you eat? I know that avoiding wheat and gluten in all its forms is really helpful. Avoiding industrial processed vegetable oils, GMO foods, sugar and dairy (if you’re sensitive to dairy) is also a great idea.

Christine, just commenting on the food aspect (in the comments section). I’ve read (and intuited) that there are no hard-and-fast rules right now when it comes to eating. Personally, I had to unlearn A LOT of what I thought to be true about food and nutrition (I have a background as a personal trainer) and through that unlearning I was guided (seriously) to eat a lot of “junk” food. It was a liberating time, going to the grocery store and putting things in my cart that I liked but always thought of as “bad.” It was scary, fun, freeing, and I did lose weight. This lasted the winter. Now I’m eating food that I prepare with love and attention and I make the meal aesthetically pleasing with pretty plates, napkins, etc. (I call it Goddess Eating.) I’ve lost even more weight and am down to almost my ideal size. Have you read Kryon? His lastest channeling (that I’ve read anyway) says you can’t listen to the “experts” anymore as there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to eating, and in fact, we may find ourselves wanting food from where we spent many past lives. Also, I’ve learned that sometimes my body needs “lower-density” foods when I’m vibing really high to help balance and ground me. Very interesting times indeed!

      Hi Kate,

I had an interesting experience similar to yours. Back in 2006 I took a road trip with my kids from San Jose, CA to Denver, CO. We camped along the way, and spent most of our time (of about 2 weeks) near Denver. (My older daughter attended a children’s choir festival.) Since we spent a lot of our time driving and stopped at restaurants to eat, I thought I was going to gain weight as normally I hiked up and down hills for an hour a day. However, the food that was available at the “restaurants” along the way did not appeal to me (and packaged food such as Trader Joe’s Mac and Cheese that I made at camp in the evenings didn’t either), that I ate just enough so that my stomach wasn’t growling. And I ended up losing weight over the 15-day trip, about 3 to 4 lbs.

I agree with you that there is no ideal set diet for every body–i.e. some poeple do better on more protein and others on more carbs, or raw food. However, I would not stretch this to mean that a steady ingestion of “foods” such as processed sugar, industrial vegetable oils, and GMOs are okay in any way. (And frankly most of this kind of food doesn’t appeal to me at all.) Christine

Thirty years ago, I had the certainty of our future as I studied what geniuses brains´ functioned like. I knew that was what humans were going for! To tell you the truth, I never thoguht it would take so long and that humaity would be FORCED to get there. Although I knew how right hemisphere works, through my own experiences, after doing a course based on the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards, I never even had a clue the heart was linked to the right hemisphere of the brain! Now, its clear…giving full attention to whatever, we are in a state of unconditional love. We are still stuck in the meaning of unconditional love but soon we will understand it is a frequency much above our 3D understandings.
I´m glad we are, now, getting there!
Yes, the balance of right/left hemispheres of the brain! Great moment for all of us!
Blessings to you and all of us. :o)))

    Hi there
Just reading about the shift in consciousness. It is a reality to me, I was a gluten, dairy, junk eating person before I was given a jolt to change the way I eat. Now I eat mainly gluten free food, and less dairy and I feel great and I know the food I consume is what my body wants and now I find my food to be yummy. I go to the gym and walk other times because I love to do these too, something I did not at all like doing before. I stand on the scales and it doesn’t compare with how I feel. I feel like I’ve lost weight, I am fitting my clothes better and my belly is getting flatter. Oh and I know I am being and I am getting prepared for the shift..
