In David Wilcock’s latest post of October 22 on his website DivineCosmos.com Wilcock asserts that something big is coming that involves the highest level of the U.S. government, the Mueller investigation as well as Julian Assange of Wikileaks. Wilcock writes that “full disclosure” about the true nature of our government as well as world events is coming and if Mueller isn’t going to reveal what he knows, Wikileaks will, and it will be soon … like probably this week soon. David asks his readers to share this article with others, and also to meditate more and sever ties with those in our lives who have psychopathic and narcissistic tendencies, so that we can more easily release the ties the powerful elite have over our lives and the world.

That’s all fine and good, but I doubt that full disclosure, the announcement, will happen anytime soon, simply because I don’t see changes in the world that show that a great many people have awakened spiritually. You just have to look at the world around you and people’s behavior to see that most have not yet awakened … yet. Which to me means that full disclosure, the announcement, will continue to be stalled. I will now explain why, and define what I mean by “spiritual awakening.”

You do not “awaken spiritually” by reading about humanity’s origins, history, or the truth about religion, although reading can definitely be a step in the right direction.  You do not awaken spiritually by reading spiritual books, articles or blog posts, no matter how enlightened or how true they may be. Quite simply, you do not awaken spiritually by reading.

The only way to awaken spiritually and accomplish what it is that is required of all of us at this point in humanity’s evolution is to strengthen the relationship with your higher self, your direct connection with the divine. By strengthening the relationship with your higher self, you will awaken your inner power, your soul’s power.

In other words, spiritual awakening means awakening the power in you that’s been dormant and ignored for a long, long time. And by strengthening the relationship with your higher self, you will, over time, contribute to the unfolding of a new world.

When you strengthen the relationship with your higher self, you’ll discover that your life will not go along the same trajectory that it’s been on; you will make changes. Your higher self will guide you to take certain actions and when you take those actions, you’ll discover things about yourself and others that are truly eye-opening.

You’ll have profound firsthand insights that will change your view about yourself, about others, and about life on Earth. And when you change your views, it will help change your behavior. This is the same path to becoming the master of your life, and a necessary ingredient to experiencing “full disclosure.”

By strengthening the relationship with your higher self, you’ll discover who you are and what you’re truly capable of. You’ll fulfill your life purpose, and feel like you’ve finally arrived. And you’ll also discover the role the powerful elite have had in this Earth drama and in your spiritual evolution and you’ll be grateful to them for this, too.

I can’t emphasize enough how super important this is. And the divine will not cheat you out of this profound experience.

This is really good news. The Earth drama is not just some “good guys vs. bad guys,” the-good-guys-defeat-the-bad-guys-and-save-the-Earth drama that’s been around for millennia. Who is the hero anyway?

In fact, by taking this path and strengthening the relationship with your higher self you will become like the master Jesus. Jesus had a different attitude toward his enemies even 2000 years ago because he had a different view of life on Earth, a view informed by his deep insights that came from actually following his inner guidance, his connection to God. I know that even his close disciples had difficulty understanding his views.

That’s because rather than just listening and following him as if he were some sort of religious leader, or was unique in some way, or had all the answers, he had instructed them to discover their own inner power and connection with God. (This is why it’s true that Christianity has yet to be practiced.)

So how do you strengthen the relationship with your higher self? Quite simply, you pay attention to your heart and soul and you respond to the promptings of your heart / soul. The following are the five steps I’ve outlined for you that I discovered over years of connecting, responding to my soul’s higher guidance, and observing what happened as a result.

Five Steps for Strengthening the Relationship with Your Higher Self

  1. Ask your higher self to help you reconnect

Your higher self will respond to your intention and willingness to reconnect. Your higher self also knows what works best for you and how to get your attention. So … ask your higher self to help you connect.

  1. Meditate and pay attention to your Sacred Space

Next, pay attention to your “sacred space.” Your sacred space is your center, the area in the center of your body near your heart, “soul seed,” and solar plexus. Then you will do the following: you meditate with your attention on this area, asking for guidance, and you “check in” to this area several times a day. (Take a few seconds, several times a day, and place your attention on this area. Is your heart telling you something? What are you feeling?)

  1. Follow through on your inner guidance promptly and consistently

Make the commitment and build up the courage to follow through with your inner guidance promptly and consistently. In the beginning, your higher self may have you take little steps that will help build your trust. For example, your intuition might tell you to call an old friend, write down an insight, or do something that might not be your usual behavior. Follow through with your inner guidance as soon as possible and notice what happens as a result. And when something favorable happens to you because you followed through, what happens is your trust in your inner guidance, your ability to “read” it, and in your connection with your higher self will grow.

  1. Ask your higher self for clear guidance when you feel stuck

What do you do when you need guidance but don’t trust yourself to interpret it correctly because you’re feeling too anxious or stressed? Try to relax and ask your higher self to send you guidance so clear it can’t be misinterpreted.

I’ve received such “signs from the universe” on numerous occasions. And these signs came rather quickly after I asked for them, too.

  1. Be willing to let go of old beliefs and societal / mental conditionings

Sometimes, old beliefs and mental conditionings (about yourself, about others, and about the world) will get in the way of your progress and you’ll need to let go of them. (Note: This is especially true for the beliefs you have about yourself, and what you think you’re capable of!)

The good news is that as you strengthen your relationship with your higher self, your new experiences will simply override those false beliefs and mental conditionings. In the meantime, your greater trust in your inner guidance, the new insights and wisdom you’ll receive, and your new habits, capacities, and confidence will help you gently change your mindset. After all, when’s the last time you changed your mind about something that’s dear to you just because someone told you to?

The five steps above will help you cultivate a deeper, stronger and clearer relationship with your higher self … as well as bring more and more of your soul’s expression into the world. It’s also how you’ll know firsthand that you’re doing it, you’re on the right path.

If you feel comfortable and are ready to practice the five steps above, I urge you to begin today. I can say without a doubt that many blessings are in store for you.

But maybe you’re not quite sure about the steps above and would like to have the full details about each of them. Maybe you’d benefit from having simple, real-life examples? And maybe you’d like to know how to distinguish your gut instincts (which are influenced by your past experiences, your fears, and societal conditionings) from your higher self’s guidance? Then I suggest you get a copy of the book, The Spiritual Awakening Process: Coming Out of the Darkness and Into the Light.  The steps detailed in this book will help you find your Self again and become the master of your life.

In summary, David Wilcock does a good job of summarizing some of the planet’s hehind-the-scenes happenings. I recommend you read his latest post, even though I don’t agree with some of his assertions. However, much more emphasis must be placed on spiritual awakening, specifically the awakening of individual inner power. Because it’s time to have access to all your resources, to your deepest wisdom, and to become the master of your life. It’s time to experience “full disclosure” and help fulfill the Earth’s full potential.

Total solar eclipse Aug 21

Summary: On Aug 21, 2017 in the United States millions will crowd the cities, campgrounds and roadways that are in the path of the total solar eclipse, in order to witness around two minutes of mid-day darkness when the moon goes in the direct path of the sun. Yet a much, much rarer cosmic event that’s unfolding at this very moment is mostly being ignored …

A rare total solar eclipse will span across a tiny sliver of the United States on August 21, 2017. To show you how rare an astronomical event this is, you might hope to witness a total solar eclispe perhaps once or twice in a lifetime.

On August 21, the path of total darkness will start on the West Coast at about 10:15 am local time, at a small stretch of sand on the Oregon beach. The path will curve slightly southward as it moves east across the country. Finally, the last place in the U.S. to witness the total solar eclipse will be a small stretch of South Carolina beach, starting around 2:45 pm local time.

To witness the longest period of darkness, you must be present near the center of the “path of totality.” For example, the town of Lexington, South Carolina (located right on the center line of the narrow band) will experience a full two minutes and 36 seconds of complete darkness, while the city of Charleston, South Carolina, only about 35 miles away from the center line, will get one minute and 33 seconds of darkness. That’s a full minute more of darkness.

Astronomy enthusiasts have planned for this event for years. Campgrounds and hotels in the path of the eclipse in Oregon have been booked years in advance, according to local residents. State officials expect about a million people to flood into Oregon for eclipse events and festivals, including a big event at the state’s capital, Salem. Other states in the eclipse’s path also have special events and festivities planned. Even Perry Marshall (engineer, author, and thought leader) has a three-day camping and educational event planned in his home state of Nebraska.

On this epic day, millions of spectators across the U.S. will jam up the cities, campgrounds, and roadways in the path of totality, trying to get the best view. All this … because of the very visible phenomenon that occurs when the moon perfectly aligns with the sun, which creates darkness during the day. The last time the U.S. went total eclipse dark was 1979 (and only a few Northwestern states that saw totality). The next total solar eclipse in the U.S. will occur in April of 2024, with Buffalo, New York being one of the areas in the path of totality.

On the other hand, I doubt many of these spectators are aware that planet Earth is undergoing a vastly rarer cosmic alignment occurring at this very moment. This rare cosmic event happens only once every 26,000 years, the length of one “wobble” around the celestial sky (one cycle around the Zodiac). In other words, the North Pole, which is tilted, takes 26,000 years to complete one of these cycles. This means a one degree shift in the Earth’s wobble takes about 72 years to complete.

This once-in-26,000-year important cosmic event is marked by the shifting of the Earth’s North Pole from pointing away from the core of the Milky Way Galaxy to pointing toward galactic core (galactic light). Which signifies a return, after a long, long dark period in humanity’s history, to galactic awareness (galactic consciousness). From Darkness to Light, as they say, yet this important shift is mostly ignored.

Why?

One reason is that unlike the solar eclipse occurring on August 21, there are no special visual effects in the sky that coincide with this immensely important, once-in-an-eternity kind of tipping point. Even though it signifies humanity’s return to the Light. Another reason is that few can explain the galactic alignment with accuracy or deep insight. Finally, change is threatening and scary for all vested interests.

I have been shedding light on this topic with the publishing of my new book, The Spiritual Awakening Process: Coming Out of the Darkness and Into the Light, which came out earlier this year. (Before publishing this updated version, a PDF was available on my website since November of 2009 …)

The new book is packed with powerful epiphanies resulting from a deep exploration of the cosmic shift that’s currently occurring, including an exploration of the astronomy of this cosmic event. I show how understanding the astronomy of this cosmic shift and its easy-to-see spiritual implications will, in itself, lead to a shift in one’s consciousness regarding life, love and humanity. This new understanding will, in turn, lead to positive changes in the way that we all interact with each other and the planet around us. In other words, there is indeed a shift happening from Darkness back to Light.

Furthermore, the steps for strengthening the relationship with your higher self (your direct access to the Divine) and for connecting deeply with the Divine are shown in the book. You can refer to this process as “spiritual awakening.”

After going through my own spiritual awakening process and viewing personal as well as world happenings in a new light, I am happier, more optimistic, more at peace, and have more compassion and understanding toward my fellow humans, as well as myself. And I definitely feel better prepared to face new challenges.

This shift is the “Good News” humanity has been preparing for, and waiting for millennia for. It’s just that things will not play out as the major religions of the world have traditionally taught their followers. On the contrary, I’m sure there will be many pleasant surprises.

To learn more about the cosmic shift that’s affecting planet Earth and her inhabitants at this time and how to activate your own spiritual awakening, visit the book’s Amazon page at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAUA9NJ/.

Will you be witnessing the August 21, 2017 total solar eclispe? Do you have any tips, advice or insights about it that you’d like to share in the comment section below? Will you attend any festivities? Whatever you do, please make sure to let people know about the Good News that’s occurring right under our noses that so far, very few are aware of.

Discover Your Life PurposeI was inspired to write this article by reading Tommie’s Spiritual Elevation Blog, namely his first blog post titled, “What on Earth Am I Here For?” It’s about his experience trying to discover his deeper life purpose by reading the second best-selling nonfiction book of all time, The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For? It reminded me of my own similar, experience.

The first time I considered the idea that each of us is born with an individual, specific life purpose was in the mid-eighties, at an electronics company on Long Island. I had just graduated from college with an engineering degree, and a new friend from work named Dave suggested I check out his church, so that I could discover God’s “will for my life.”

This suggested that everyone has their own unique and specific plan, and I wanted to know mine. (Up until then, I had assumed the generic Catholic view that it’s the priests and nuns who get to have special vocations, everyone else just has a job. And that God wasn’t giving out any special assignments in this day and age.)

Before Dave revealed this new idea to me, I wasn’t aware that God had specific, detailed plans for individual people’s lives. The idea intrigued and startled me. I thought perhaps if I knew my true life plan, I’d make fewer mistakes and avoid the disasters that seemed to haunt my life.

For example, I was disillusioned with my job as a process engineer. And I was trying to let go of a bad college relationship. And the old, used Datsun I purchased for my move to Long Island had begun to break down. Plus, it had also been broken into twice, when I left it at the Huntington train station on my way to New York City. The second time the thief shattered the auxiliary window on the driver’s side and made off with my main source of entertainment then—my knitting project. (The radio had already been stolen.) Then, as if that weren’t enough, during a heavy snowstorm driving home from work my car’s windshield wipers stopped working. So I pulled over to the side, and drove my car straight into a three-foot ditch. Luckily for me, I hadn’t managed to get too far from work so I could walk there to get help. Besides all that, I didn’t have close friends or family nearby, and I wasn’t comfortable where I lived. I seriously thought it was high time to do something about my sorry car and the sorry state of my life—get a brand-new car and a brand-new life, perhaps one with a greater purpose.

But, I thought back then, just because all this bad stuff was happening didn’t mean I was going to promise to follow God’s plan precisely. I didn’t know what God had in store for me. But I was curious and open, and I thought that simply knowing this plan would make life easier and more rewarding.

Some months later, Dave shared another astonishing thing—that he was intuitive and knew I would help a lot of people someday by doing something new. The idea intrigued me—helping others seemed so admirable—but I wondered how that was going to happen given the current state of my life. Well, I had a new car by then, but other things were the same.

Besides, I didn’t know anything about this new thing I would supposedly do, so how could he, who barely knew me? Also, it’s a little disturbing when others claim to know things about you that you yourself don’t know. You wonder how and why this information has been kept from you, and if it is real. You become afraid to hear more, in case of bad news, though ultimately you know it can’t be true. But Dave seemed so sure, so smug about his prophecy.

Anyway, I developed a passion to learn more about myself and why my life was such a struggle. So out of sincere motivation to discover my true life plan I attended a few evangelic Protestant services that Dave recommended. But after a few services, after rereading the Bible with new interest and studying a couple booklets offered to me on the topic of God’s plan for individuals’ lives, my enthusiasm fizzled.

For one thing, I didn’t seem to be any closer to discovering my life plan. Also, the experience didn’t lift up my heart, and I wasn’t moved. I must sound like an awful stickler, but I remember thinking that some passages in the Bible seemed to be confused, as if something were missing. Having lived through eight years of Catholic grade school with its daily mass and religious classes, I just had expected more. After all, as people learn and grow, they’re ready for more truth and more wisdom.

The other thing was, where was the sense of humor? Biblical characters—including Jesus himself—must have had a huge sense of humor to keep themselves from going mad, and this sense of humor was completely missing.

Anyway, after not learning anything about my life purpose through Dave’s suggestions I kind of gave up on trying to discover it through the Bible, or through religious books or services. Instead, I started to attend a few personal development courses. I also quit my job on Long Island and found a job in Munich, Germany for a while. And for the first time in my life I began to feel more free, more adventurous and open. And I put the idea of discovering the “life purpose that’s sanctioned by heaven” out of my mind.

That idea remained dormant until about 15 years later, when, in 2001, I again began to experience some major challenges in my life. This time I had a family, too: a husband and two small children. And this time I could not afford to be casual in my search. Too much was at stake. I demanded real answers from heaven. I expected signs from the Universe that could not be misinterpreted. And crazy, amazing things began to happen, and consistently, when I actually followed through with my inner guidance.

I wrote two books about what I learned once I began to connect to the divine and follow through with my inner guidance. My first book came out in early 2008 and it’s a memoir of my reconnecting experience. My second book came out late in 2009, and was a “how-to” ebook on the spiritual awakening process, including how to fulfill your higher life purpose. I updated the “how-to” book recently and put it up on Amazon earlier this year. I’m sure that’s what the Divine had planned for me to do (and what Dave somehow knew, even though he didn’t know the details about it).

The following are several things I learned about our purpose, in a nutshell:

  1. Humanity has a generic higher purpose and each one of us also has our own individual, specific purpose.
  2. Our generic higher purpose on this planet was to have a fall in consciousness so that we would experience huge challenges and then, by rising above those challenges by connecting with our dormant higher consciousness and learning spiritual and life lessons through firsthand experiences we’d become true masters of our lives. This Earth experiment / experience was designed to have a noble purpose: so that we would become as compassionate, as appreciative of life and each other, and as creative (in addition to other good qualities) as is humanly possible, as quickly as possible.
  3. Our soul plans our individual higher purpose before we are born (I agree with Robert Schwartz’ work, Your Soul’s Plan) but this plan is not set in stone. It is a fluid plan, and depends on the generic divine plan and humanity’s progress with it.
  4. Most likely, we have little to no idea what our individual higher purpose is, not until we spend some time connecting with our higher self and following through with our inner guidance promptly and consistently. For example, with a degree in materials science & engineering and a master’s in environmental studies, I did not consciously plan to write books on spiritual awakening. That came later, after I experienced some huge life challenges, began to seek answers from my higher self, and had some amazing things begin to happen regularly as a result of this connection with the Divine.
  5. The Universe will offer you signs that help you find your higher purpose. That is, if you ask for them and you pay attention. (Doing this can help you distinguish your higher guidance from your ego’s desires.)
  6. Much of the guidance you receive will be on a moment-to-moment, need-to-know basis.
  7. It takes courage to find your higher purpose and fulfill it. It’s easier to simply be a cog in the wheel of the economy and just go along with things as they are. It takes courage to make changes, even those that will put humanity on the right path. But that’s what it takes for us to become true masters, such as the master that Jesus Christ was.
  8. Keeping a journal and recording your thoughts, dreams and the things that happens when you follow through with your inner guidance will help you discover your higher life purpose. And as you search for your higher purpose, your life will become more and more interesting and significant.

After going through my spiritual awakening process and viewing personal as well as world events in a new light, I am happier, more optimistic, much more at peace, and have much more compassion and understanding toward my fellow humans, as well as myself. And I definitely feel better prepared to face new challenges.

I encourage readers to begin their journey today by strengthening the relationship with their higher self and gaining confidence in that connection. The rewards are immeasurable.

Please share your experience with trying to discover your higher life purpose in the comments below.

Spiritual Awakening SymptomsWhat are the most common and significant signs and symptoms of spiritual awakening? This post is an update of an article I’ve written back in April of 2012 titled, “Spiritual Awakening Symptoms – Essential Signs of Spiritual Awakening.” I’m reviving and updating it because five years later, I can add even more clarity to a topic that still has a lot of confusion around it.

For example, a current google search of spiritual awakening symptoms includes the following “symptoms:”

  1. An increased interest in metaphysical and/or religious topics, including in developing a mind-body-spirit connection
  2. Unusual sensations in your crown, headaches, ringing in your ears, vertigo
  3. Increased chills or shivers not due to illness
  4. Taking things less seriously
  5. Increased empathy and compassion for yourself and others
  6. Seeing the numbers 11:11 regularly
  7. Experiencing regular synchronicities, “coincidences,” intuition and messages from the “Universe”
  8. A desire to reconnect with yourself and become more authentic; to finally be yourself
  9. Becoming aware of your old negative habits, and feeling you want to finally change your life
  10. Deep yearning for meaning in your life
  11. Increased creativity and inspiration
  12. More awareness about food and nutrition
  13. Change in sleep patterns; inability to sleep
  14. Becoming less worried, judgmental and confrontational (and sometimes, more worried)
  15. Feelings of being connected to everything and everyone; feelings of bliss

It’s generally understood that these signs and symptoms of spiritual awakening will intensify and accelerate as humanity awakens from it millenia-long sleep, and that humanity will continue to be thrown temporarily out of balance. (Why? To help us awaken. Awaken to what? To the truth.)

Back in 2012, James Tyberonn stated that the spiritual awakening symptoms predicted to increase included, “mood swings, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety, lethargy, apathy and fatigue.” Other spiritual teachers had their own lists, which included headaches and other body aches and pains, emotional rollercoaster rides, angry outbursts, sweating, changes in energy levels, sleep patterns, jobs, and relationships, and gaining or losing weight.

I think you’d agree that this is a huge hodgepodge of “symptoms,” and most of these don’t sound like a whole lot of fun to deal with, either. And it’s understandable that after reading these lists, someone new to the process of spiritual awakening can be left feeling a bit confused.

Back in 2012, James Tyberonn channeled,

“We have told you that the world remakes itself now and whether or not humanity in micro or macro is supportive of expansive change or against it, whether it is understood by mankind en masse or not, it is truly a moot point as the inertia of transition speeds into reality more quickly today than it did yesterday on the linear and Omni-Earth….Each advancing energy will require physical, emotional and mental adjustment to the higher frequencies downloaded.”—Archangel Metatron channeled through James Tyberonn.

What does the above channeling mean? In a nutshell, and on a macro level, it means humanity is adjusting to discovering the truth of its millenia-long journey (implying that as a society, we’ve been living a bunch of lies for a long, long time). (But keep reading and don’t despair … because eventually you’ll discover that even the lies had a noble purpose.)

And on the micro level, it means that we as individuals will need to respond to and adjust to each event or challenge that comes up in our life. Despite the challenges sometimes showing up one right after the other, including sneaking suspicions of lies we’ve believed and have been living since we were children, we will need to make efforts to expand our awareness and respond to each challenge to the best of our ability.

Archangel Metatron encouraged,

“Do not despair, for the symptoms will pass quickly, and the benefits are a stronger ‘you’.”—Archangel Metatron channeled through James Tyberonn.

I agree that many of those symptoms will catalyze your personal growth. This is because when you’re experiencing unpleasant symptoms, you are more motivated to take action and to follow your inner guidance (which will help you discover the truth). However, the physical symptoms will not pass by quickly all on their own. You will need to be proactive about each of them.

Regarding physical symptoms, I’ve seen people on Facebook asking questions such as, Should I do something about this ache and that pain or are they symptoms of ascension and awakening?

When it comes to physical symptoms, you may find that your mysterious aches, pains and skin issues disappear when you eliminate certain foods from your diet. For example, a friend of mine noticed that she has increased stiffness in her body when she eats gluten. So now she avoids it and feels much better as a result. I totally get this, as this has happened to me, too. So I eliminated gluten from my diet about four years ago.

A colleague of mine named Shasta Tierra (an herbalist and licensed acupuncturist in San Jose, CA) has been advising her Natural Health Makeover Class participants to totally eliminate gluten, dairy and GMO foods from their diet, for about a month. Just to see what happens.

People who’ve taken this class have had pains in their arms, swelling in their feet, stiffness, skin irritations and back pains disappear tramadol no prescription within several days of following the healthy diet she recommends. One lady who couldn’t sit at work for more than 45 minutes without experiencing excruciating back pain found herself sitting all morning without having to get up and stretch. But when she slipped back to her normal diet, her back pain came back within a couple of days.

Please don’t ignore these so-called “awakening symptoms.” Be proactive, do some research, and follow your inner guidance.

Regarding the spiritual awakening process though, I like to refer to Father Charlie Moore’s definition of what happens when you begin to awaken, which he borrowed from the Gospel of Thomas:

“Those who seek will find, and that is a promise. Those who find, will find the truth in their own heart. And those who find that truth will be disturbed because of the conflict between what their heart tells them and what they are being told by others.

“Those who are disturbed will wonder and ponder, and at last they will choose the truth in their own heart. They will then become masters of themselves and become truly human, which is the best thing any human can be.”—from Synthesis Remembered: Awakening Original Innocence.

Anyway, I have my own list of what I understand to be essential and relevant signs and symptoms of spiritual awakening. The following is a list of nine “symptoms” I  experienced during my process of awakening:

  1. Painful life changes you can’t explain, or know how you’ll get through. (This helps motivate you to look deep within for the answers. Because that’s where you’ll find the guidance that will actually place you squarely on the path of your awakening.)
  2. Synchronicities that are meaningful to you. (These help point you in the right direction on your path or help spark a new insight.)
  3. Intense inner contemplation including questioning and/or reexamining of beliefs and events, especially at three or four in the morning. (This is often triggered by events you can’t explain using your current belief system or knowledge.)
  4. Receiving “secret messages” from people who may or may not be aware that they’re relaying special messages to you. (Because spirit works in interesting ways.)
  5. Having the same thing (especially something unusual) happen to you two or three times in a relatively short period of time, like 24 hours.  (This assures that you actually notice what your higher self wants you to notice.)
  6. Waking up in the middle of the night feeling intense confusion. (This means your beliefs and the foundation they are based on are being adjusted. Before you become clear and solid in your new awakened state, you’ll no doubt find yourself mucking through a period of deep confusion.)
  7. Intense, vivid dreams that seem to point you in a certain direction. (The further along in the process you are, the clearer your dreams will be and the more your dreams will help guide you in your daily life. The dreams will be in metaphor form, often in metaphors that make sense to you.)
  8. Favorable synchronicities that happen regularly. (You can expect these to occur after you regularly follow through with your inner guidance.)
  9. Finding yourself laughing more often. (Sometimes you’ll wake up in the middle of the night and in pops a new, freeing insight about one of your beliefs or an event from your past, and then you laugh your head off. Don’t worry about this behavior. It just shows that your higher self has a good sense of humor.)

Experiencing any (or all) of these symptoms means that you’re deep into your spiritual awakening process.

If you want to fast-track your awakening, though, because you’re tired of being in the dark, I’d recommend the book, The Spiritual Awakening Process: Coming Out of the Darkness and Into the Light. This book lays it all out, and is easy to understand, too.

Remember, your individual growth is super important right now. The symptoms you experience aren’t just signs or symptoms. They’re catalysts, designed to assist you in your spiritual growth.

Reconnected: A Spiritual Awakening Memoir

Reconnected: A Spiritual Awakening Memoir really does reconnect, according to “Hall of Fame, Top 1000” Amazon Reviewer Dr. Joseph S. Maresca. Dr. Maresca goes on to say that, Reconnected: A Spiritual Awakening Memoir by Christine Hoeflich is an excellent book on the mechanics of tuning into the spiritual domain. Christine explains the inner self, accessing intuition and showcasing creativity.”

Reconnected explores the steps needed for strengthening the relationship with, and developing trust in, the higher self, in intuition, despite societal expectations. It lays the foundation for how readers can understand their soul’s bigger plan, and how to access Interconnectedness.

Christine said that she discovered on her journey that when people work with more than simply their will alone, they gain the support of the divine, helping miracles and magic to occur that might not have been possible through their will alone.

This Kindle book is available today, Wednesday November 2, 2016 until midnight PST time at no cost. Readers may download the eBook onto their Kindle, laptop or smartphone for free. (Amazon.com has free downloadable apps for reading Kindle books on laptops and smartphones.)

The following excerpt is just a small sample of what’s in store for the reader, taken from the “Superconductor” chapter:

After what had happened in merely a matter of months, I was only motivated to connect further to become an even clearer conduit of creative energy, to see what would be possible continuing on this course of listening within for guidance. I had a sense this was only the beginning and I wanted to see what was next, and how far I could go.

With a pounce onto my chest, our kitten awakened me from a dream the day I was revising this chapter. I was on my way to Alaska as a passenger in what looked like a new, comfortable European-style city bus. In my dream, I was aware that I’ve never been to Alaska, only to Canada, and I was thinking that going to Alaska would be just as easy as going to Canada.

The bus traveled through a picturesque, green valley in between beautiful snow-capped peaks, maybe ten miles from one side to the other. It reminded me of the area around Davos, Switzerland, still snowy in the higher elevations though it was almost summer. The bus meandered, switchbacking up an incline, went here and there, stopping for passengers to get on, taking its time. Impatient, I asked a woman sitting next to me how long this trip to Alaska would take.

“It’ll be around four hours,” she said.

Four hours? That was way too long for me! I wanted to get there sooner! I explained to her that if I drove my own car, it would take me only two hours. So I decided to get off public transportation and drive my own vehicle. I pulled the signal to stop and got off the bus. That’s when the cat woke me up.

So if the key to memory and the key to dreams is metaphor, was this dream telling me to forgo mass transportation or public direction and follow my own, to power up my vehicle and drive up the spiral of evolution? Furthermore, I got that Alaska doesn’t have to be viewed as some destination or end point because in reality, once you get to Alaska, there’s a whole new, big wonderful state to explore.

With a new level of enthusiasm I began to do a second meditation (a grounding meditation) to strengthen my connection with the heavenly dimension and with my environment, so as to help clarify and completely unveil my mission for this lifetime. (The “heart and soul” meditation described earlier in this book connects you to your inner core, while this grounding meditation helps to further strengthen the “vertical” connection of the above with the below.)

At least twice a day, I practiced a simple three-to-ten minute exercise for this purpose, an exercise slightly modified from one I had learned in the Soul Recognition Workshop.

Standing with my feet shoulder-width apart, my hands hanging loosely at my sides, my knees slightly bent, my eyes closed, and exhaling slowly, I’d imagine energy or sunlight flowing from the sun (or source, or the dimensions above) down to the top of my head, entering my body at the crown of my head and going down through my body in a line as straight and as coherent as a laser beam, down my spine all the way through to the bottom of my feet, to the core of the earth. Then inhaling slowly I’d imagine this energy reflect back up from the center of earth, through the bottom of my feet and the rest of my body to the top of my head and back up to the sun, or the higher dimensions. I would repeat this several times, imagining the energy or light flowing up and then down; inhale energy going up, exhale energy going down, with a short pause at each endpoint, and sometimes as long as I could hold it. (Alternatively, I sometimes imagined this energy going out to the universe with each out-breath and coming back into my inner core with each in-breath.)

I’d do this exercise expecting the connection to both my physical environment and to the heavenly or angelic realms strengthen and the energy to flow in between with more clarity and ease. This grounding exercise, as well as paying attention to my inner voice throughout the day, helped deepen the connection to the interconnectedness and made the inner guidance clearer. It was a simple practice I could do anywhere, but it seemed to do the job. –excerpt from Reconnected: A Spiritual Awakening Memoir

Manifesting ResultsHave you been meaning to write a book or begin a health and fitness plan? Do you have an idea for a small business that you’d like to start, but you haven’t yet gotten into action with your project? How do you make a commitment to your project or higher purpose so that you’re fully empowered to get it done? How do you keep going and not stop at the first significant obstacle that presents itself? How do you become unstoppable?

This last weekend I spent in a workshop given by a successful, heart-centered, conscientious business coach in California named Bill Baren who shared how he made sure that he would go full forward, not procrastinate, and not dilly-dally, with a business idea he wanted to have succeed.

Bill Baren graduated with a degree in computer science and Russian literature from Stanford University. After college he could have easily gotten a job in computer engineering and made good money with that, but Bill wanted to go into the music industry and start a record label. However, this is not what his parents, who were Ukrainian immigrants who had known true poverty and struggle, wanted to hear.

So how was Bill going to enroll his parents into his project in a conscious, responsible, adult way, so that both parties would be empowered with it?

He decided to have a conversation with them and tell them about his business project. He laid the what, the why, the when and the how of the business plan all out on the table in detail. And then he asked for their commitment that during the first two years, they would not criticize him or talk him out of his project. “You are not allowed to talk me out of it, or to criticize me, or to nag me about the project,” he told them.

It was a two-hour conversation, but in the end they agreed he’d have a two-year no-nagging zone. And after the conversation was over, it became apparent to Bill that he had just bound himself into an invisible contract. “Holy shit!” He said to himself. “Now I’m going to have to make this happen! There’s no back door and no way out. There’s no plan B. Anyway, that’s it. I did not have a plan B.”

And make it happen he did. Within two years he produced an album that was highly successful. And then, like a serial entrepreneur, he went on to his next project …

Going out on a limb and telling others about your project is a way of making sure you stick to it, to make sure there’s no way out and there’s no plan B, to make sure you manifest results. In fact, it’s how I got my two book projects done as well. But my story is a bit different …

So what happened was, I was going through some crises at the time and attended a spiritual workshop that I thought would help me solve my crises … only as a result of the workshop I was told that I’d write a book about what love really is and how life really works here on this planet. And I was told that what I learned over the next few years I was to share with others through these books. (This was a channeled message from the Counsel of Light, channeled by Flo Aevevia Magdalena.)

Over the next year or two I explored the idea and mustered up the courage to begin this book, even though I had no idea what it was that I’d write about. Still, I told a few important people in my life that I’d write a book and that they could count on me for that, even though I didn’t know yet about what and was absolutely terrified of the idea. I just knew my mission had something to do with the promises I had made to myself and others in the spirit world before I incarnated into my body, the Plan sanctioned by “Our Father Who Art in Heaven.” I’d have to try to “remember” that plan.

I had a sense by then that I’d just have to follow my intuition, and I wasn’t going to give myself a way out. I did not have a plan B. The Counsel of Light had stressed that my mission was way too important to ignore and that I was the one who could accomplish it.

So I made the commitment, I closed the back door and moved out of a relatively safe situation at the time, even though I still didn’t know what I was going to do or write about. I did not have any clarity about my book project. And that’s because many of the things that ended up in my book happened after I made the commitment.

But you know what? My commitment was my biggest ally. When my Mom called me several months later to beg me to go back to my safe home situation, because she was worried and scared for me, I was able to tell her, “Don’t worry Mom, everything will be okay. I will do it. It will all be okay,” even though I was scared about that myself, as my book was yet unformed and so much more was going to happen that would later clarify my project. But after that conversation with my Mom, I realized I had no choice but to complete this project after all …

So it really is like that Himalayan expedition quote:

“Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative or creation, there is one elementary truth … that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would otherwise never have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of incidents and meetings and material assistance which no man would have believed would have come his way.

Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace, and power in it.”—W. H. Murray

So don’t wait. Begin your book, health acyclovir program, spiritual awakening, new business idea, or higher purpose empowered to manifest results, the way Bill Baren recommends and the way that worked for me, too. And while you’re at it, get my free spiritual awakening Quick Start Guide that will rev up your intuition and help you awaken to a whole new perspective about life on this planet.

You and Your Higher Self

My sister’s friend asked about yoga helping connect her with her higher self. This article explores how effective taking a yoga class is for strengthening your connection with your higher self and developing your intuition.

You may want to reconnect with and strengthen the relationship you have with your higher self so that it becomes more evident and real to you. Your meditation practice should help you with this goal. However, as with most things in life, some meditations are more effective than others. If your relationship with your higher self isn’t where you want it to be and you want to know what kind of meditation is effective for accessing your higher self and developing your intuition, read on …

Let’s begin with the basics first. To strengthen your relationship with your higher self, it’s not how you sit or how you breathe that’s all that important. And it’s not whether you have the “right” mantra. What’s important is whether your meditation helps you connect to that “higher self” part of you as directly as possible and whether you then hear and allow that sacred part of you to guide you daily in your life.

I’ll explain what I mean by “as directly as possible.” But first, I’ve found that for the fastest, easiest and best results in any area of life—doesn’t matter whether you’re baking a cake or grouting your kitchen tiles or connecting with your higher self—it helps to follow a good “recipe.” You’ll get better results when you accurately follow a proven mixing ratio (recipe), rather than just being “in the ball park.” The cake will come out light and tasty and the grout will have maximum strength and performance if you follow a good recipe. This also holds true for connecting with your higher self.

A Meditation … From the Counsel of Light

Over 14 years ago, the Counsel of Light gave me a meditation they said was a “shot in the arm” for connecting with my higher self. (Channeled for me by Flo Aeveia Magdalena of Soul Support Systems.) In this meditation, they had me place my left hand on my heart and my right hand on my “soul seed.” They called this area my “sacred space.”

They said the heart in my meditation symbolized my current life and the soul seed symbolized my infinite life (my higher self, soul, which never dies). During the meditation they had me imagine that I was doing a figure 8 (the infinity sign) around my hands. In essence, the meditation integrated my current life (heart) with my infinite life (soul, higher self). During the meditation, I was mixing the two areas together, integrating them.

Activating Your “Sacred Space”

After I got into this meditation practice, I noticed that this area of my body they called my “sacred space” would get warm and tingly just before I’d get an important guidance. In fact, sometimes I’d get this warm, intense glow in the center of my chest close to my heart even when I wasn’t paying any attention to this area.

I could be driving my car, for example, on some mundane errand, when all of a sudden I’d feel this intense warming up at the center of my chest. I’d feel a warm, peaceful, uplifting glow even when my life was in chaos and I felt scared, sad, and disconnected.

Moments after feeling this warm glow, I’d notice that I’d get a new insight, or some sort of inner guidance—guidance that helped me resolve specific problems in my life at the time. Having this warm feeling helped me at a time when I wasn’t yet confident in my ability to correctly distinguish my true guidance from my mental conditionings, fears, hopes, or imaginations. It also helped me recognize which inner guidance was important for me to follow.

Listen up … if your higher self gives you guidance it deems important, even critical for you to follow (so that you fulfill your higher purpose), wouldn’t it make sense for you to receive a sign that would be hard for you to ignore?

Touching Your Sacred Space Also Helps Calm You …

Placing your hands on your body as described above while lying down actually helps to calm you, to reconnect you to your true self. (Try it for a while and see.)

Furthermore, this kind of meditation also affirms that your power is within you, not outside of you, and that this is your direct connection to the Divine.

Yoga and the Martial Arts Provide Health and Physical Benefits

The Counsel of Light distinguished between connecting to one’s life force through the practice of martial arts and yoga (which increase the body’s well-being and energy level) and connecting to one’s higher self through the sacred space.

They said the martial arts and yoga connect you to your life force (your chi). Practicing yoga and the martial arts is a way to connect to and increase life force—for the purpose of healing the body and increasing the energy level and general well-being. That makes sense, doesn’t it?

However, they also said that the heart and soul meditation would provide more of an “instant wisdom hit,” for my purpose here wasn’t so much to “work with my chi but to work with the wisdom that comes from universal chi.”

In other words …

Yoga and the martial arts are best at increasing your body’s strength, life force and well-being …

While the heart and soul meditation is best at strengthening your connection with your higher self, accessing its wisdom and developing your intuition. (So that when you act by following your inner guidance, you have Divine will behind that action.)

In summary, yoga will help you focus on your breathing, calm your mind and may even help you reflect on your life, but will it activate your sacred space? If you want to strengthen your connection with your higher self and develop your intuition as quickly and easily as possible, you’ll want to use a meditation practice that connects you to your higher self as directly and as effectively as possible.

Gold medalist Claressa ShieldsWhile visiting my dad near Buffalo, New York recently I flipped through late night TV and came across a PBS documentary called T-Rex: Her Fight for Gold, about a 17-year old girl from Flint, Michigan who became the first ever Olympic gold-medal winner in women’s boxing at the 2012 London Olympics—the first time boxing was recognized as an Olympic sport for women.

I’m sharing her story here because I see many parallels between her story and the story of so many heart-centered entrepreneurs, “lightworkers,” and those who expected great things to happen once 2012 came and went. This message is especially important to hear right now, when many on this planet are struggling with their relationships, health, finances, environment, and more, while hoping to make a difference in a world that seems to be on the brink of disaster.

Claressa’s Inspiring Story

Claressa Shields grew up in Flint, Michigan, a city with one the highest unemployment, poverty and violence rates in the U.S. (You’ve probably heard of Flint because of its municipal water problems.) Claressa’s mother struggled with addiction and could not adequately take care of her children. Her father was an underground boxer who spent time in prison. Hers was a life of poverty and abuse, rife with challenges, and her future didn’t look bright, either.

Claressa’s dad was released from prison when she was 11 and took her to a boxing gym. She begged her dad to let her box. He finally agreed and for the next several years, she worked harder than any of the boxing students at the gym, harder than any of the boys. Her coach recognized she had the spirit of a champion and mentored her.

Early in 2012, when she was only 16 years old, this unknown, honor-roll high school student with a dream competed at the Olympic Trials in Washington and won. A few months later, she won the Gold medal for women’s Olympic boxing.

But after winning the 2012 Olympic Gold in London, not much changed for this high school student from Flint. The endorsements and sponsorships she expected (and that she counted on to help improve the life of her mother and younger siblings) didn’t come like they did for gold medalists in swimming, gymnastics and beach volleyball.

Well, of course. Cereal companies and other advertisers don’t know what to do about women boxing in the ring, especially one so enthusiastic about the sport. It’s a bit of a stretch for the mainstream, a risk. And it takes time for perceptions to change.

So after taking a few days off after the 2012 Olympics, she went back to the gym and has been working hard to prove everyone wrong. Her plan is to be unstoppable, because that’s what she feels will make people respect and pay attention to women’s boxing, and her.

“I’m fighting for more than just a medal. I’m fighting for my family, I’m fighting for my future, I’m fighting for my city — to give them some hope and faith, because it’s so bad in Flint. I always fight harder than I would if I were fighting for just a medal,” Claressa said.

Your dream might not be to be an Olympic athlete like Claressa, but you have a purpose and a gift. Whether it’s to write a book, take back your online pharmacy no prescription health, or teach others you must keep going. You must strive to attain your highest level of excellence with your dream and purpose. It might take time to reap the awards, just as it’s taken some time for Claressa to be recognized and get the endorsements she deserves.

Last year, she moved to the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs (where her room and board is covered), she received a college scholarship, and watching the Olympics this last week, I’ve seen her receive modest parts in TV commercials for Dick’s Sporting Goods and the MINI Cooper auto company.

Which to me shows that things are slowly changing on this planet. We are making a difference. Humanity is transforming. (Just as I had explained in my ebook, Activating 2012: A Practical Guide for Navigating 2012 with Confidence and Clarity, an ebook that’s just as relevant today as it was in 2012.)

“My name is Claressa Shields,” she says into a recorder she carries around with her. “I always knew I was going to be something. I just didn’t know what.” (I know that you know that you were going to be something, too. You just didn’t know what.)

So are you going to cherish the rest of your precious life and make every day count? Will you work daily towards your dream, share your gift and fulfill your higher purpose? Whatever you do, make sure to watch the compelling documentary, T-Rex: Her Fight for Gold. It will lift you up and motivate you to go forward with your dreams.

And make sure to watch Claressa when she fights to defend her title in Rio on August 17 (quarterfinals begin 10:30 am PT). You might not be a fan of boxing, and you might even be against boxing, but this is one opportunity for you to open your mind and cheer for Claressa Shields and all that she’s accomplished with her one challenging life.

Ayahuasca Spiritual ActivatorEarly last month a friend mentioned she was going to participate in her second Ayahuasca ceremony—which made my ears perk up. I had no idea what an Ayahuasca ceremony is like, only that it involves some kind of herbal drink that makes some people throw up and the night before, one could do a Native American sweat lodge ceremony as part of the experience. Since this friend is a seeker, always searching for healing and greater spiritual awareness (and is grounded in her job as the CFO / CPA of a small company), I was all in.

The other thing I knew about Ayahuasca is what my 21-year-old daughter told me when I said I was going to an Ayahuasca ceremony—Chelsea Handler has done it. (Chelsea Handler, I found out, is a hilarious TV talk show host.)

After registering I received instructions for how to prepare for the ceremony. This included eating cleanly and lightly at least the three days before the ceremony, staying away from violent movies and images, and a few other precautions, such as avoiding alcohol and prescription premier pharmacy medications. On the day of the sweat lodge, only fresh fruits were recommended. No problemo, amigo; it’ll be a piece of cake, I thought to myself.

We packed camping equipment such as chairs, sleeping mats, blankets, and coolers with fresh fruit and plenty of water. At the ceremony site, we set up our tent and helped others with their tents. The people arriving for the event were open and friendly and ranged in age from their early 20s through their late 60s.

We were instructed to come to the event with an intention. I wrote my intention on the drive over: to gain momentum with my higher purpose and life.

The Sweat Lodge Ceremony

In the evening a fire was started in the fire pit and rocks were being heated. The rocks would go into the blanket-covered half-dome structure that would serve as the sweat lodge after dusk.

Crawling in one by one, we sat on the ground along the perimeter of the sweat lodge. Hot rocks were brought in, along with a pail of water. Every 15 minutes or so, new freshly glowing rocks from the fire outside …

The two leaders drummed and chanted Native American songs and prayers. We endured the heat and steam for an hour in complete darkness. My long cotton dress got saturated with sweat. The intent was to cleanse ourselves of toxins and prepare for the Ayahuasca the next morning. I enjoyed the sweat lodge and only got slightly uncomfortable the last 10 minutes or so.

The next morning, I had tea and a couple pieces of fruit. We took down our tents and packed them into our vehicles. The ceremony would begin around 9 a.m.

Ayahuasca—the Most Spiritual of all Herbal Substances?

About 50 people gathered with yoga or sleeping mats, blankets and bottles of water. The ceremony area had already been prepared: tarps had been laid on the ground, then utility blankets on top of them. Beautiful art blankets hung from clotheslines attached to trees.

I heard that we’d be on the tarp area for six hours. Although I knew the ceremony included the ingesting of an herbal medicine that alters your consciousness, I had no idea what we’d be doing for six whole hours. Chanting? Drumming? Prayer, Indian style? Role playing? I had no reference for what was to come.

Two leaders, a male and a female, and about a dozen volunteers helped with the process. We received the Ayahuasca medicine in small paper cups. It looked and tasted something like an herbal / mushroom expresso. Most people swallowed it in one gulp. I took four sips and got it all down. It didn’t taste bad.

The sun shone through the canopy of trees. Music came on via an audio system. I lay back on my mat to relax and take it all in. There was a bucket by each person’s side, just in case we needed to puke.

After about 20 minutes or so, I felt the herbal medicine begin its work. One of the first things I felt was a warm glow beginning in the center of my body near my rib cage (where the soul seed is). This feeling reassured me. Then I felt things shifting in my body, as if channels were opening inside my body and brain. I felt something shift inside and voilà—the sky instantly got brighter and the leaves on the trees became radiant with energy.

Within an hour I was fully in the process. I had my eyes open pretty much the whole time. I told myself I was going to be conscious throughout the process.

It’s hard to describe in words what I experienced, but it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I saw, among the canopy of trees, what I can only describe as the Interconnectedness of all life. I saw the web of life.

I Saw the Interconnectedness

If you’ve read my memoir on intuition and awakening, you might remember that the Counsel of Light had told me that the Interconnectedness was real. And you might remember that I had experienced glimpses of it when I followed my inner guidance and amazing synchronicities occurred. But now I could actually see it. I mean I could actually see the Interconnectedness; I could see the web of life and it was so beautiful. It was as if the tree spirits and all of nature were saying to me, we’re here; we’re here for you; we support you. Can you see it? Can you see the bigger picture and how we’re here supporting you?

I sat up and looked at the people all around me. They all appeared completely normal, no distortion there whatsoever. But just beyond them the trees became animated and the leaves dazzled and danced. It was a most interesting visual experience.

My Ayahuasca experience affirmed and confirmed my larger mission to help people strengthen their relationship with their higher self. The day I’m writing this, less than a week later, I feel my intention of moving forward with momentum in this mission is being supported. I feel stronger and I’m moving forward faster.

I did not throw up. Sometimes a few tears came as I witnessed the beauty of nature, the beauty of the experience, the beauty of humanity’s journey. I did not experience anything dark or negative.

Ayahuasca also Releases Toxins

Most people threw up, but not everyone. Throwing up helped release toxins, both the physical as well as the emotional kind. I suspect what came up for people were the things that were blocking them from feeling better in life, the things that were blocking their spiritual awakening and personal growth. With the help of the Ayahuasca, they could now see things with clear vision and process what there was to process. And once they threw up, they felt a lot better immediately.

I can understand why people call Ayahuasca the most spiritual of all herbal substances. Whatever is there for you, you’ll see it with more clarity. Sometimes you won’t like what you see, but you won’t escape what’s there. After all that puking, people felt and looked transformed.

Ayahuasca is like the proverbial red pill. You only need one experience like this and your perspective changes forever. And afterwards, you can’t help but want to have a steady connection with the Interconnectedness. You can’t help but want that kind of clarity. You can’t help but want to continue to strengthen the relationship with your higher self and feel the Interconnectedness working with you daily. And I suspect, strange and wonderful things are bound to happen in your life from then on that no one can predict.
